Admission Process

  • PROCEDURE

    Considering how cumbersome the admission process in schools has become these days, G.S. Jangid Memorial School has tried to simplify the admission procedure for the parents.

  • PRE-ADMISSION PROCEDURE (Class Pre-Nursery to Class X)
    • You will need to purchase the prospectus for session 2016-17 from the school reception. The prospectus will cost you Rs. 1000
    • Should you wish to proceed with the admission post your school tour? You will need to fill the Registration Form (Part of the prospectus) and submit.
    • With the form you need to submit the following documents :–
    • Original plus one photocopy of students Birth Certificate (the original will be returned immediately after verification)
    • Photocopy of the previous class report cards
    • The admission assessment is for students seeking admission to class IX and above.
      For classes Pre-Nursery to VIII, admission is done through random lottery which shall take place on every Wednesday for admission forms filled on Monday and Tuesday and on Saturday for admission forms filled on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
    • If your ward's name will be there for the test, you shall be telephonically informed about the same.
  • POST ADMISSION PROCEDURES
    • Once admission in granted you may deposit the fees and submit the following documents
    • 1. Transfer Certificate is original (for overseas students the school will require a letter from the Principal of the last school attended stating the bonafide of the student along with the transcript of the last examination given)
    • Photocopy of the previous class report cards
    • Once the fee and documents are submitted, you will receive an admission confirmation letter through courier or E-mail from the school. This will inform you about further formalities, to be completed if any.
    • School Uniform and books can be brought from the uniform shop and book shop in the school. The book list is available with them.
    • Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. The time table for your ward will be handed by the class teacher.
    • Kindly inform the school of your joining date. This is mandatory because staff need to be informed to expect your ward on a particular day and they in turn need to make preparations accordingly.
    • Teachers will assist your ward with the subjects which has been covered in the class till date.
  • Pre-admission Procedure (Class-XI)
    • You will need to carry the Report Cards of your ward, of classes 8th, 9th and 10th. The same will be put across to the Principal of the school, post which a written assessment will be conducted for students applying for science and maths as subject options.
    • Should you wish to proceed with the admission post your school tour and after getting confirmation from the school office, you will need to fill the Registration Form (part of the prospectus costing Rs. 1000) and submit.
    • With the form you need to submit the following documents –
    • Original plus one photocopy of the students Birth Certificate (the original will be returned immediately after verification)
    • Photocopy of Report Cards of classes – 8th , 9th and 10th.

  • Post –admission procedure
    • Once the admission is granted you may proceed to deposit fees and submit the following documents.
    • Transfer Certificate in original.
    • Photocopy of all achievements certificates in the field of Academics, Sports, and Extra Curricular Activities.
    • The admission documentation booklet must also be completed and duly signed by both parents. It contains information which will assist you in your relationship with the school.
    • Once the fee and documents are submitted, you will receive an admission confirmation letter through courier or E-mail from the school. This will inform you about further formalities, to be completed * School Uniform * Your Ward * Teachers will assistance
  • PLAN A VISIT

    The school is operational on all week days except 4th Saturday of the Month. The visiting hours for parents/guardian and for visitors with any queries related to the school are from 9am to 5am. The senior management is always available in the school to provide parents/guardians with the information they require and guide them through the admission process. The parents can take the tour of the school and can take the tour of the school and can acquire a firsthand experience of the facilities and infrastructure.
